Between $19 and $59 per person, per race. The price tracks how busy we are, quiet weekday sessions sit at the bottom of that range, peak weekend slots at the top. Live pricing shows as you pick your time.
The Main Track can have a maximum of 24 karts at a time.
Racing a bigger group than 24 at the same time? Email hello@hyperkarting.com.au and we'll see how we can accomodate you best.
Yes! We have four separate tracks, accommodating almost all ages. Mini for 3–6 year olds, Junior for 7-9 at 120cm+, Intermediate for 10–14 at 140cm+, and the Main Track for 15+.
No licence needed, plenty of our regulars have never driven a car. You do however need to bring photo ID on your first visit.
Yes, but only a limited number per session and walk-in only, they can't be booked ahead, and they go on availability at the desk. The driver must be 15+ and the passenger at least 140cm.
Call (02) 8311 4124 or email hello@hyperkarting.com.au instead of booking online, and we'll add your companion to the session free of charge. Bring your valid companion card with you.
Leave 40 minutes to an hour between the two bookings.
Your karting time slot is when the 10-minute race briefing starts, not when you go out on track. So an 11:00am booking is done and dusted around 11:20am, plan your BattleKart slot from there.
Create a Hyper Karting account using the same email address you bought the membership with. Your discount then applies automatically at checkout whenever you're logged in.
Edit, manage or cancel it any time from your account page.
Bookings are strictly non-refundable, whatever the reason for not turning up, unless you added Booking Protection at checkout.
You can reschedule, and we'll issue a gift card for the full booking value:
- 30 seats or more — at least one week's notice
- Under 30 seats — at least 48 hours' notice
Send notice to hello@hyperkarting.com.au or call (02) 8311 4124. Read the full refund policy.
Getting there & gearing up
15 minutes before your session time — that goes for every track and attraction. It gives us time to sign you in, size a helmet and get your session/s organised efficiently.
Head to the main car park and take the lift or the stairs to Level 5. That's us, right at the top.
We're on Level 5 of the Entertainment Quarter's Wilson car park. On event days we can validate your ticket so you pay the casual rate rather than the event rate, just ask at the desk.
Rates are set by Wilson Parking, not by us, so check their website for current pricing.
Yes. There's lift access on both the east and west sides of the track, and the walkways through the venue are accessible.
To drive a kart safely you need to be able to grip the wheel with two hands, turn it left and right, press a pedal with each foot, and handle the odd knock that comes with racing. If you're unsure, call us and we'll talk it through.
- Enclosed shoes, no exceptions
- A hair elastic if your hair sits below your shoulders
- Photo ID if it's your first visit
Everything else including helmets, hairnets & others are here.
No dress code, but comfortable casual clothing is the go. Enclosed shoes are mandatory, and loose items like long skirts and scarves can't be worn on track. Hair below the shoulders gets tied up. Helmets and seatbelts are compulsory for every driver.
No, closed-in shoes only. Thongs, slides and open-toe shoes can't go on track, so bring a spare pair if you're coming straight from the beach.
Wear whatever head covering you wish, the only requirement is that a helmet fits over the top of it, because full-face helmets are compulsory on track.
Our largest helmet is a 4XL (66cm). If that won't fit over your covering, you're welcome to bring your own full-face helmet.
No, we don't keep cash on site and can't accept it in the venue. All major credit cards are accepted.
Always. The track is purpose-built and undercover with open-air access, so weather never cancels a session.
On track
First time out? We'll limit your kart's speed for the first few laps until you get the hang of it.
- Photo ID is required for all new drivers.
- Drivers under 18 need adult consent.
- Under-18s must be with a parent on their first visit, and that parent signs our waiver.
- No racing under the influence of alcohol (0.00 BAC) or drugs.
- We're not bumper cars, no kart-to-kart contact.
- Follow staff safety directions at all times.
- Hair below the shoulders must be tied up under the helmet.
- No smoking anywhere near the track.
- Helmets and seatbelts on, every session.
- Enclosed shoes only.
- Don't race with a medical condition including seizures, heart or back issues. Check with your doctor if you're unsure.
We don't recommend it — karting is more physical than people expect. Leave a gap between races to check your lap times, grab a drink and work out where you're losing time.
If you do book back-to-back slots, we may need you to stay seated in the kart between races.
No. 0.00 BAC is required, for your safety and everyone else's on track. Nobody races under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and alcohol and smoking are prohibited around the track.
We advise against racing if you experience seizures, have heart or back problems, or are wearing a wrist or knee brace. If you're unsure whether it's safe for you, please check with your doctor before booking.
All automatic. Our German-engineered RiMO electric karts pull away quicker than most petrol cars and deliver power smoothly, so there's nothing to learn even if you've never driven.
We've got over 20 layouts and change the track twice a week outside school holidays, which is why no two visits drive the same.
Follow @hyperkarting for each new configuration, or check the track drop.
