Unfortunately we have temporarily closed our Mini Track due to kart unreliability issues. We are working hard on a solution to this problem and will re-open the track when we are comfortable we have enough working karts for it to remain open long term.
Whether you're looking for something to do over the school holidays or in need of a new activity for your next family day out, Hyper Karting is conveniently located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and offers an exciting racing experience.
Safety is our main priority, so we have designed everything from our karts to our tracks with kids in mind. Our purpose-built Mini Track and Nano karts allow drivers aged 3-7 to get in on the fun in a safe way. Parents can either supervise next to the track or sit behind their child on the kart.
Note that kids 8 and up are more than welcome to ride on the kids karts however they are targeted to ages 7 and under.
Kids taller than 140cm are able to use our Main Track and karts by booking into our endurance races. Each kart can be controlled wirelessly, giving our team real-time control over the speed of the karts. To ensure the safety of our future Formula 1 stars, the karts will run at a slower speed than an adult race.
If you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (high temperature, dry cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing), or have been in contact with someone who has these symptoms, please stay home.
If you book and are unable to attend because doing so would be in direct breach of NSW Government Health Advice we will refund your booking to a gift card provided you give us more than 48 hours notice.
Please note that our karts and helmets are thoroughly cleaned between each race. Our pit crew all wear masks and at this stage we require customers to as well. Whilst we call our track ‘indoors’ as it has a ceiling to shelter us from the weather, we are considered an outdoor business for COVID purposes due to high airflow from all sides. As always at Hyper Karting safety is our number one priority.
