General

The minimum age for the Main Track is 13 years old. Racers aged 13-15 must be booked into Ages 13+ races while people aged 16+ may race in Ages 16+ races. Please note that for safety reasons the speed in Ages 13+ races is limited. Adults wanting to race their kids may do so but please know your speed will also be reduced. Photo ID is required to race at Hyper Karting and if you cannot provide any or you incorrectly booked someone younger than 16 into an Ages 16+ race our Standard Refund Policy will strictly apply.

For safety reasons all racers must be less than 130kgs. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions.

For safety reasons all racers regardless of their age must be over 150cm. Unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions.

Children over 3 can drive under adult supervision on our specially designed Mini Track. Please know that this is targeted at ages 3-7 and although people aged 8+ are welcome to be a part of the fun they may not find it entertaining for their age.

Take the elevator or stairs of the main car park to Level 5.

Please ensure you bring a pair of enclosed shoes and a hair elastic if you have hair below your shoulders.

The track has capacity for 10 people to be racing at once.

COVID-19

Your safety is a priority to us. In line with decisions made by the Federal and State governments, Hyper Karting will open with enhanced health and hygiene measures. We are following strict NSW Government guidelines, based on expert public health advice, to help keep our visitors and staff safe and minimise the spread of COVID-19.

On arrival, please check-in using the QR codes on entry.  

Our priority is to keep our visitors and staff safe. Our health and safety measures include:

- Cleaning the Karts after each use

- Social distancing when waiting in line for tickets or to get onto the track

- Enhanced daily cleaning regimes, including hourly sanitisation of frequently used spaces with disinfectant.

- Ensuring adequate handwashing facilities and sanitiser is available.

- Providing contactless ticket purchases - please purchase your tickets online via our website.

- Sign in to the track – this will assist with contact tracing if an issue does arise

- We continue to follow the NSW Government health guidelines and will update our procedures as necessary.

What you can do?

- Please don’t visit the track if you feel unwell, have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 including a fever and sore throat in the last 14 days, or have returned from overseas in the last 14 days.

- Please keep at least 1.5 metres from others.

- Observe lift limits – use the stairs if you can.

- Purchase your race on our website to minimise contact with staff

- Use the hand-sanitiser provided and wash your hands with soap in the restrooms on ground level.

- Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, and put the tissue in a bin.

- Consider downloading the COVIDSafe app.

Track Rules

PLEASE NOTE: If you’re a first-time driver, we will reduce the speed of your go kart for the first few laps to help you learn the circuit.

- Photo ID is required for all new participants.

- Drivers under 18 years of age must have adult consent.

- Racers under 18 must be accompanied by the parent on their first visit, and the parent must agree to a waiver supplied by the track.

- Drivers will not be permitted to race if under the influence of alcohol (0.00 BAC required) or drugs.

- We’re not bumper cars – no vehicle to vehicle contact.

- Follow safety directions from the staff at all times.

- Long hair (below shoulders) must be tied up under the helmet.

- Smoking is strictly prohibited around the track.

- Helmets and seat-belts must be worn.

- Enclosed shoes are required.

- Do not race if you have any medical conditions including, seizures, heart and/or back issues. Consult your doctor if you are unsure if it is safe for you to race.
