Discover your race face

You’ve seen your friends drive — there’s a Grand Prix racer lurking in everyone. Take it to the track with a group go-karting session. Hyper Karting packs the incredible performance of the latest EVs into a tiny, powerful package. Our German-made RiMo karts accelerate much faster than traditional fossil-fuel-powered karts, enhancing the thrill of riding in a low-slung frame.

Experience innovative kart design

Electric technology lends itself perfectly to go-karts, allowing for precise weight distribution that results in true Grand Prix handling and a more authentic racing experience. This design also encases and protects any moving parts, including the kart’s wheels and with minimal noise and no fumes — there’s nothing to get in the way of having fun.

No limits

Group go-karting is an all-weather, totally inclusive and safe activity that will bring out your friends’ inner competitive spirit, regardless of their gender, level of fitness, driving ability or personality. Hyper Karting’s electric karts are clean, safe and, best of all — flat-out fun. With zero emissions, riveting performance and a super-stable low centre of gravity, group go-karting will take your crew from zero to wow in seconds.

First place and safety first

Each kart’s ‘footprint’ features a wide body, with an axle geometry that virtually eliminates tipping. Go-karts have sturdy metal seat support frames to protect drivers in the extremely rare event of a rollover, and impact-absorbing bumpers at front and back. Each kart automatically adjusts to its driver’s skill level, based on the first lap time of each race with an absolute maximum speed of 30km/h. These karts accelerate fast, so we require a strict no alcohol and no drugs policy before and during races.

Are you ready to give it a go?

Booking couldn’t be simpler or more flexible for all go-kart racing age groups. Adult races run every 15 minutes from 10 AM to midnight, seven days a week and bookings can be made up to six weeks before your event. You can book for one race or as many as you like, allowing you to design a one-off grudge match or a full corporate race day and everything in between.

Simply browse our group go karting bookings to find a date that works for you, click on the button for that date then check available that day then let us know your preferred race time and enter the number of racers. Each race has ten participants, so if you have a group of ten or more racers you can simply book out the whole race. The group should arrive at least 15 minutes before race time for briefing. Normal street clothes are fine as long as they’re not loose-fitting and shoes are enclosed, and a racing helmet is provided. Don’t forget to check for our go-karting group deals and treat your team to generous discounts and specials!

Make a day of it

Go-karting group deals include discounts that are clearly visible for each available session on our website and will be applied automatically when you book. Off-peak sessions in the early morning, late evening and first days of the week are the most affordable options. You can use discover vouchers at Hyper Karting, with the voucher value available as a partial refund at the venue when you use online bookings.

Some days in Moore Park are extremely busy so check for major events to avoid congestion. Participants should read terms and conditions on our website which detail Covid requirements, how automatic speed control works, driving tips and more. Don’t forget to hatch a plan for your next race day and enjoy your post-race debriefing at one of the Moore Park entertainment precinct’s many nearby bars.
